Hakkari Airport (YKO)
Hakkari Province in Eastern Anatolia Region is a province of the Republic of Turkey. The surface area is 9521 km².
Hakkari, which is part of the Hurri or Urartu kingdom, passed to Arab rule after the rule of the Persian Empire. The city, which later came under the control of the Seljuks, entered the territory of the Ottoman Empire in 1536.
Bordering Iran to the east and Iraq to the south, Hakkari has Şırnak to the west and Van to the north. Hakkari has four districts: Hakkari Yuksekova Semdinli Cukurca
Mount Cilo, the highest point of which reaches 4150 meters, is located in Hakkari.
