Kars Airport (KSY)
Kars, Turkey is located in the northeast of the central district of the province of the same name. The name Karsin came from the Kapışehr which was Karsikalaki in Georgian. There are twenty-two neighborhoods and seventy villages in the central district bordering the country of Armenia. In terms of height in Kars, the highest provincial center of Turkey, villages with a population of one of the cities of more than one hundred thousand in provinces where the center of different ethnic groups is able to talk about cultural differences and wealth is cosmopolitan.
Kars is a border city that was the capital of the Bagrat Kingdom and the Cenub-i Garbi Caucasus Government (Republic of the Southwest Caucasus) in the past. With this feature, it is one of the few cities in Turkey that has been the capital of every country.
Turkey's gateway to Central Asia in this urban position began to develop rapidly with the opening of the University of the Caucasus and eventually became a student city. It is also located at a point where the transport network crosses the region, thanks to the airport, which is six kilometers from the city center. Apart from that, there is no problem with transportation to other settlements in the country by land and rail.
