The province of Kastamonu, the Black Sea Republic of Turkey and Sinop, Çorum, Çankırı, the border of Karadeniz with Karabük and Bart is a coastal city, a total of 20 districts with shopping centers.
The first time Kastamonu was conquered by the Turks was "1105" in the time of the inhabitants of Danişment during the reign of Ahmet Gazinin Son Gümüş. The city and its environs, which had been under the rule of Danişment for almost 100 years, went back to the Byzantines for 15 years and was conquered in 1213 by commander Seljuk Hüsamettin Çobanbey on behalf of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat.
Forests and shrubs represent a significant percentage in Kastamonu province (64%), forests are more common (56%) and more common in coastal mountain ranges in the north of Kastamonu province, and these regions are dense forest areas in the province Ilgaz. The forest cover is dominant in the province, generally the forest trees of the province consist of conifers such as the red comb, black pine, scots pine, fir, juniper and leaf leaves such as beech, oak, poplar, chestnut and plane tree. Rhododendrons such as Ormangülü, Çobanpbaşülü, Kocayemiş, Blackberry and Wild Hazelnut can also be seen. It has a rich forest cover because it has a lot of rain and moisture.
In areas where there are no trees and which are used for grass and not for agriculture, there are different types of wheatgrass and legumes. Aside from that, there are some spiny plants where the cover breaks.
