Marseille Airport (MRS)
Marseille is the oldest city in France, located at the Mediterranean Sea in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Free shuttle buses run from the airport to the railway station Vitrolles Aéroport Marseille Provence. Marseille is the "oldest city in France" and indeed one of the oldest in Western Europe. The city was founded around 600 BC as Massalia and quickly developed into an important port in the ancient Greek world. For the Greeks and later for the Romans, it was an important point of transition and trade between the civilizations of the Mediterranean and those of Gaul and northwestern Europe.
