Split Airport (SPU)
Split Airport (SPU) is the second busiest airport in Croatia, after Zagreb Airport. The airport in Dalmatia is located close to Split, the historic city of Trogir and the beautiful islands of Brač and Hvar. The center, train station, bus station and the port of Split can be reached from Split Airport by bus, boat and taxi.
Split is a busy and second largest city, but it remains one of the liveliest port cities in the Adriatic, beautifully situated between mountains and sea. Split, the economic and cultural center of the Dalmatian coast, is bustling with islanders who flock to the city to work, even as ferries take tourists to the islands. A World Heritage Site, Diocletian's Palace is the main attraction, but there are so many things to do, including day trips, world-class nightlife and restaurants that it's impossible to get bored.
