Toulouse Blagnac Airport (TLS)

Toulouse Blagnac Airport is one of the busiest airports in France and an important hub for low-cost carriers Ryanair, easyJet and Volotea. The headquarters of the aircraft manufacturer Airbus is situated at Toulouse Blagnac Airport.

The airport lies northwest of Toulouse’s city centre. It is situated in Toulouse, partially in the suburbs of Blagnac and Colomiers. You can reach the airport via the Autoroute A620 and a short drive on the Autoroute A621.

The city of Toulouse, located on the Garonne plain in the heart of southwest France, half way between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, is more important now than it has been for many centuries.

Since 2016, the fourth-largest city in France has become the capital of the second largest region of France, the new region of "Occitanie", which stretches  from the Rhone in the east to within 60 miles of the Atlantic coast in the west. Modern Occitania is similar in extent to the great County of Toulouse which,  from the 9th century until the end of the 13th, was an independent territory of southwest France.
